Imaging Endpoints Appoints Manual Ramirez as Chief Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Officer
Growth Driving Opportunities and Expansion
Imaging Endpoints (IE), with offices in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Waltham, Mass., announced today the promotion of Manual Ramirez, RAC to Chief Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Officer. Ramirez has served as Senior Vice President of Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at Imaging Endpoints for five years and has built an outstanding Compliance Department and imaging Quality Management System (iQMS) at IE.
Under the leadership and direction of Ramirez, Imaging Endpoints continues to develop and maintain an industry-leading level of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) compliance. Imaging Endpoints recently demonstrated its leadership in quality and compliance with the successful completion of a four-day Bioresearch Monitoring (BIMO) inspection by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) with excellent results; no Form 483 issued and zero observations. The inspection related to central imaging for a high-profile, Phase III multicenter clinical trial focused upon overall response rates (radiology endpoints).
In his new and expanded role, Ramirez will continue to optimize quality and regulatory strategies to ensure Imaging Endpoints remains an industry leader by meeting and exceeding imaging standards and the expectations of regulators as the dynamics of imaging GCPs continue to evolve.
Imaging Endpoints’ strong growth and success has accelerated this year, enabling the company to recognize, promote, reward and facilitate further growth of many of the team members that have helped IE achieve its status as the preeminent imaging CRO (iCRO) in complex imaging. The promotions this year include: Jatinder Kaur, Senior Vice President of Client Management and Business Solutions and currently in a dual role as V.P. of Imaging Operations; Samuel Gillis, Associate Director Project Management; Jessica Herrick, Associate Director Imaging Operations; Julie Gillis, Associate Director, Medical and Scientific Affairs; Amanda Seaney, Imaging Project Manager; Alexander Williams, Associate Imaging Project Manager; Judith Emenanjo, Senior IT/QA Specialist; and Jacob Woolsey, Clinical Radiology Research Specialist. The company looks forward to more promotion announcements soon.
Imaging Endpoints has also added over 25 new staff members this year within Imaging Operations, Medical and Scientific Affairs, Data Management, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs, Innovation and Technology, Research and Technology Development, and within the company’s Site Management Organization (SMO). IE continues to seek the best candidates for numerous new positions; see www.imagingendpoints.com for a list of openings with opportunity for dynamic growth and contribution.
