Ioana Andreea Stoian, MD

Dr. Stoian is Medical Director with extensive expertise in Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, and Oncology, bringing over 15 years of clinical and industry experience across academic hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, and clinical research organizations. Educated at leading institutions including the Mayo Clinic in the United States and prominent European academic hospitals, she is board-certified in Nuclear Medicine and fellowship-trained in Radiology with a strong clinical background in Hemato-Oncology.

She has been instrumental in advancing imaging in oncology clinical trials through leadership roles at CROs, where she established Central Imaging Review Boards and led large phase I–III studies.

She has supported the development and clinical integration of antibody-drug conjugates and radiopharmaceuticals, as well as guided the implementation of imaging endpoints in global studies. Her expertise spans a broad range of interpretation criteria, including RECIST, Lugano, Deauville, PERCIST, and PSMA-based frameworks, along with hands-on experience in novel radiopharmaceuticals and theragnostic agents.

Dr. Stoian’s career bridges medical and industry perspectives, with significant contributions in radiopharmaceutical development, imaging-based endpoints, and regulatory strategy. Her international background, having lived and worked across multiple countries and continents, underpins her ability to thrive in multinational and multicultural environments.
